▹NOTE: ONLY read this if you are not interested in being long term friends. I have two seperate personalities that help me stabilize my monophobia and depression. I talk to them often and it usually sounds like just "talking to myself."◆ Briefing ◆
▹You may notice that I will refer to myself as: "we, us, our, ourselves" OR even notice that I talk to myself more than usual.◆ Why is this? ◆
▹It's a coping mechanism to combat my depression and monophobia (Feeling extremely anxious when you're alone). I've talked to myself since I was a kid and it gives me a sense of stability. Some people might refer to this as just bouncing ideas back and forth, but to me it's much more important.◆ How does it work? ◆
▹It's basically thinking or verbally speaking to myself as I would with another person. Unlike talking to people however, we share memories with each other.◆ Is it DID [Dissociative Identity Disorder]? ◆
▹I'm not sure. I just know that we don't experience holes in our memories.
▹However, it has one similar function. The Host and Protector. I don't shift into them, as we just choose whether we are both at the controls, one takes over due to stress and other circumstances. It's more of a partnership. Our names are Clever (host) and Demetrius (protector).
▹I don't want anyone to refer to ourselves separately. If you mean to talk to either of us, it has to be just "Clever". (Unless we're close friends, please do not refer to us as "Clever AND Trio.")
